If some lawmakers have their way, this weekend will be the last time to “spring forward” clocks an hour in South Carolina.

State Senators passed a bill yesterday that could determine whether South Carolina drops Daylight Saving Time altogether.

Cherokee County Senator Harvey Peeler proposed the bill that puts a committee in charge of looking at the pros and cons of the time change. The bill now heads to the house.

Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday.
