In Anderson, Denver Downs opens this Friday with a 10-acre corn maze, a hay ride, several haunted attractions and farm games.
The family farm is currently a nominee for USA Today’s “10 best corn mazes in America.”
This year, its corn maze design celebrates the 100th anniversary of the John Deere tractor. Owners say they wanted to celebrate the roots of farming.
“People love getting back in touch with where their food and fiber comes from at the farm,” co-owner Catherine Davis says. “This is a chance to visit this and get outside and laugh and have fun together.”
The fastest person to make it through that ten acre corn maze will win a free a trip to Mexico. There’s also a alien paintball shoot-out attraction and a new, second corn maze open at night that is haunted inside the farm’s “Harvest of Horrors”
Denver Downs opens Friday, September 28th. You can vote for the farm to win “Best Corn Maze in America” here.
