Man arrested after shooting on Berry Blvd. in Spartanburg Co.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested after a shooting in Spartanburg County that happened Thursday night.

Deputies responded to Berry Blvd. in Boiling Springs at about 8 p.m.

Joshua Martin Stewart, of Boiling Springs, assaulted several family members and also pointed a weapon at them, deputies said.

One of those family members used another weapon and shot Stewart twice.

He was transported to the hospital Thursday night and was released Friday.

Stewart was booked into the detention center for 3 counts of Second Degree Assault and Battery and 3 counts of Pointing and Presenting a Firearm.
