DHEC announces 1,530 new coronavirus cases, 26 deaths in SC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSPA) – DHEC announced 1,530 new coronavirus cases and 60 probable cases, with 26 deaths and 18 probable deaths in South Carolina.

This brings the total case number to 192,645 with 12,373 probable cases.

13,693 individual test results reported statewide yesterday (not including antibody tests)

There is a 11.2% percent positive rate.

816 people are currently in the hospital with COVID-19, with 188 in the ICU and 90 on ventilators.
