DHEC urges South Carolinians to get vaccinated amid increase in Delta variant

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSPA) – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control held a 45-minute statewide briefing for media to provide an update on COVID-19 and the state’s vaccine rollout efforts.

Public Health Medical Consultant Dr. Johnathan Knoche spoke at 2 p.m.

DHEC is now encouraging all eligible South Carolinians to get vaccinated as they’re seeing an increase in the Delta variant in our state.
