Drill prepares Upstate med students for possible mass casualty events


GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville held its annual community emergency response training, Friday.

The training simulates a mass casualty event.

Local emergency responders including police, fire, and EMS took part.

The training also serves as an exam for first-year medical students studying to become emergency medical technicians.
