Driver accused of having meth, morphine in McDowell Co.

McDOWELL Co., NC (WSPA) – Janet Cook Nanney, 47, of Walkertown Rd. in Old Fort has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, according to the McDowell Co. Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy on patrol on U.S. 70 in Nebo Dec. 26 stopped Watson for multiple traffic violations.

A search of the vehicle found .10 grams of meth and 31 milliliters of morphine, according to the report.
