OCONEE Co., S.C. (WSPA) — Troopers say a driver was killed after they were ejected from a pickup truck in a Walhalla crash.

It happened around 11:23 p.m. Wednesday on Coffee Road near S. Abbott Road.

Corporal Bill Rhyne with the S.C. Highway Patrol said the driver was headed west when they ran off the road, hit a ditch and overturned.

The driver was ejected from the truck and died at the scene of the crash, Rhyne said.

Troopers say the driver was not wearing a seat belt.

The Oconee County coroner says Kenneth Nathan Dailey, 25, of Walhalla was killed in the crash.

No passengers were in the truck.
