(WSPA) — It wasn’t his time to go.
A man in Australia came close to death when a steel rod flew through his windshield.
Network Ten reports Joe Sant was inches from being impaled Wednesday as he drove in Sydney.
Sant’s son tells the news station he thought his father was dead.
He found the rod on the steering wheel.
Although he was hit in the chest by the force, he managed to walk away.
“If it wasn’t bent in the shape of a horseshoe, my dad would be dead right now,” Matthew Sant told Network Ten.
