Driver pulls gun on boy riding bike, says Union Co. report

UNION, SC (WSPA) – A boy, riding his bike, said a the driver of car stopped and pulled a gun on him, according to a report from Union Co. Sheriff’s Office.

The report said it happened on 1/30 around 3 p.m.

Deputies were called to a location in the 2000 block of Lockhart Hwy. on 1/31 and talked to a man and his 8-year-old son about the incident.

The boy said he was riding his bike on the street in front of where he lives on Poinset St. when a black 4-door car came up the road and stopped where he was.

He said 3 or 4 men, who he had never seen before, were in the car and the driver pointed a pistol at him.

The car then drove away in the direction of Morningside Baptist Church.
