Fatal Hit & Run: Police looking for possible witness in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – One man has died after a hit-and-run that occurred on N. Main St. early Monday morning, according to the Greenville County Coroner.

32-year-old Thomas Earl Talley, Jr. was found dead in the southbound lane of N. Main St. at 2:40 a.m., the coroner says.

He says it appears Talley was hit by a car, and that the car left the scene.

The incident happened in front of the Northgate Soda Shop.

The autopsy showed that Talley died of multiple blunt force injuries.

The manner of death is classified as an accident.

Police think there could be a witness.

They say a dark color sedan, possibly an Impala was seen driving on N. Main St. and E. Hillcrest Dr. toward the direction of the incident around the same time.
