Fine Arts Center Students On Tour with National Youth Symphony Orchestra

Two young musicians from the Fine Arts Center will tour with the National Youth Symphony Orchestra this July.

Rising Senior Will Harris, who plays percussion, and graduate Sam Parrini, who plays the violin, were the only two musicians selected from South Carolina.

The orchestra will begin its tour by performing at Carnegie Hall in New York, then move to South Korea, Taiwan and China with over 100 of the most gifted young musicians in the nation.

Parrini will also appear in NPR’s program β€œFrom the Top” on October 22nd. The program features outstanding young classical musicians. He will perform Friday June 29th at the Carolina Music Museum in a special concert with his sister, who is a pianist.
