Fire at Tietex in Spartanburg Co. Wednesday morning

SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – There was a fire at Tietex in Spartanburg Co. on Wednesday morning around 8:26, according to Westview-Fairforest Fire Dept. Chief Scott Garrett.

Garrett said a machine that runs high temperatures got to hot and fire ran upa flue pipe through the roof.

He said there was a lot of smoke inside the building and they had to get out.

The fire department put the fire out quickly with the help of sprinklers.

He said no one was hurt.
