ANDERSON, SC (WSPA) – Family and friends are putting up flyers as they search for a missing couple in Anderson.
Police say they got a call from a woman who said her best friend was missing.
That woman is Kala Victoria Brown, 30, of Wexford Dr.
The caller said she last had contact with Brown on 8-31 with a text message.
Police say Brown’s boyfriend, Charles David Carver, 32, is also missing.
His mother said she had not been able to get in contact with her son since 8/29 and could not get in touch with his girlfriend either.
She said his job hadn’t seen him in a few days.
She told police that the apartment manager checked the apartment and said it appeared that no one had been there in a while.
When police went to the apartment they found her vehicle there, but Brown was not in her apartment. Kala’s family says her dog was unusually left behind too.
Police have not located Carver’s car. It is a 2002 White Pontiac Grand Prix with SC Tag HWY 224.
They says it has a LSU decal in the back windshield and possibly a Palmetto flag.
Dispatch attempted to ping her phone, but her carrier said there had been no activity in the last 48 hours.
If you have any information on where Brown or Carver may be, call Anderson Police or Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC
