Forward Malik William to transfer from Clemson

CLEMSON, SC (WSPA) – Clemson’s Head Basketball Coach Brad Brownell announced Tuesday that a member of the team will be transferring from the university.

According to Ben Winterrowd, assistant director of Communications for Men’s Basketball, said sophomore forward Malik William will transfer from the university.

“I’d like to thank Malik for his commitment and dedication to our program over the last two seasons and his contributions to back-to-back postseason appearances,” Brownell said. “We wish him the best of luck in the future.”

According to the release, William, originally from Orlanda, Fla, appeared in 17 games during his freshman season in 2017-18.

William averaged 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 4.4 minutes per contest and scored a career-high six points against Western Carolina.
