Fourth-grader skips school for Cubs game, runs into principal

A fourth-grader’s plan to play hooky to see the Chicago Cubs home opener backfired.

Tucker Speckman brought a sign to the game saying he was skipping school and asked everyone not to tell his principal.

What Tucker didn’t know was that his principal had also skipped school to attend the game.

Unfortunately the two happened to bump into each other, but it wasn’t Tucker who tried to hide – it was his principal who was there with his son.

With both parties caught they had no choice but to take a picture together along with Tucker’s sign.

The principal did want to be clear that he got permission from his boss to take the day off.
