Gaffney celebrates Irish Fest at new amphitheater

GAFFNEY, S.C. (WSPA) — If you’re looking for a place to spend St. Patrick’s Day, the city of Gaffney has events you might enjoy.

Irish Fest opens at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at Gaffney’s new amphitheater. 

The Doo-Dah Parade happens at 10 a.m. The event also feeatures local talent, a fun run/walk, “bed race, vendors, games and inflatables for children. 

There will be live music on a new amphitheater stage including, Chris Garlock from 4 to 6 p.m.

Irish Fest is just one of the upcoming events in Gaffney.

Mutts Gone Nuts will also perform to benefit the Cherokee County Humane Society.

The show is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Broad River Electric Cooperative on Hamrick Street in Gaffney.
