GREENVILLE Co., S.C. (WSPA) – Greenville County Coroner’s Office officials identified a woman killed in a crash Monday night near the North Carolina state line.

The crash happened Monday night on Highway 25 about seven and a half miles from Travelers Rest.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Joe Hovis said the driver of a Kia was headed north on Highway 25 when they crashed head-on into another vehicle.

The Kia driver died at the scene of the crash, Hovis said.

Coroner Jeff Fowler said identified the driver as Janice Miller Frazier, 67, of Greenville.

Fowler said Frazier died from blunt force trauma and her death has been deemed an accident.

Troopers say a Central woman was taken to Mission Hospital in Asheville for injuries. Her condition is unknown at this time.

The case is still under investigation by the coroner’s office and highway patrol.
