Greenville Co. school bus involved in crash with motorcycle in Mauldin

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Greenville County Schools officials said one of their school buses was involved in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Mauldin.

According to Greenville County Schools spokesperson Beth Brotherton, the crash happened on Ashmore Bridge Road and Crestwood Road around 2:55 p.m.

Brotherton said a motorcycle came up behind the bus and was unable to stop in time.

“According to our dispatcher the motorcycle rider slid and went under the bus,” Brotherton said. 

The students on the bus attend Greenbrier Elementary School and no injuries were reported.

EMS crews responded to the scene to assist the motorcycle rider.

Law enforcement was also on-scene.
