GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Greenville County Schools announced on Tuesday that the results of the Change in Assignment Choice Lottery had been posted.
Greenville County Schools is a choice district, meaning parents can opt to send a student to a school outside of their assigned attendance zone.
According to a news release from the school district, parents can now access their student’s information by using their choice form number by clicking here.
School officials said students’ names are not listed and said any requests submitted on Jan. 7, 2019 or later are not included in the lottery results.
According to the release, the lottery does not guarantee placement and space by grade level will later determine school choice assignments.
School officials said choice assignments will be determined and assignment letters will be sent home with current students or will be mailed to all parents no later than March 29.
