GREENVILLE CO., SC (WSPA) – Firefighters say a house was destroyed by fire on Barnett Road in Greer.

According to the Lake Cunningham Fire Department, crews were called to the scene around 6:15 p.m. Monday for the fire at a two-story house.

Firefighters found the house engulfed in flames. They say there were no fire hydrants near the home.

Seven fire agencies responded to assist with the blaze.

The house was empty when it caught fire.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Lake Cunningham Fire Department says they also responded to five other fires and over a dozen other calls for reports of trees and power lines down across roads due to severe storms.

It is unknown if the cause of the fire is related to weather.

The fire is under investigation.
