Help deputies ID shoplifting suspects in Spartanburg Co.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Spartanburg County deputies need help identifying two men who have been accused of shoplifting from Walgreens. 

A Walgreens employee told deputies that two men came into the store on Boiling Springs Road Monday at about 5:30 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office. 

Deputies said the employee told them that the men brought up their cart to purchase items. While she was ringing them up, one of them men took a bag of items outside. She finished ringing up their items and told the other man the total. The man told her that he had to go outside to get the other man’s debit card so that they could split the payment. The employee told deputies that the man did not return. 

While the employee was putting the items back on the shelf, she realized that the some of the items were missing, according to the sheriff’s office. 

The men stole a carton of Newport cigarettes, eight packs of Newport cigarettes, a Wahl “Clip n’ Trim” trimmer and three Quickscreen at home drug tests for cocaine. The items totaled over $200.

Anyone with information about the shoplifting incident or the identities of the men should contact the sheriff’s office.
