Help find attempted burglary suspect who cut dog in Anderson

ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the person who tried to break into a woman’s home on Masters Dr., and hurt her dog in the process.

The attempted burglary happened Sunday night, around 10:40 p.m.

The victim says she saw a person wearing dark clothing running from her back yard.

She heard her dog barking and found that the suspect had slashed the dog on the head, left front leg, and right back leg.

No one has been arrested at this time.

The suspect will be charged with attempted burglary and malicious injury to an animal.
