Help find missing teen Austen Wright in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – Asheville Police Department officers are searching for a missing 17-year-old boy.

According to a police department news release, officers are searching for Austen Allen Wright, who was last seen on Sept. 26 around midnight in the area of Alexander Drive.

He is described as being 6-feet-tall, weighs 175 pounds and has long brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.

Police said Wright could possibly be in the Sandy Mush or Swannanoa area.

Anyone who has information on Wright’s whereabouts is asked to call APD at 828-252-1110 or Asheville-Buncombe Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050.
