GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Greenville Police Department officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that happened Tuesday morning.
According to a police department news release, the bank robbery happened at First Citizens Bank, located at 928 N. Pleasantburg Drive just after 11:20 a.m.
A man reportedly went into the bank and approached an employee about opening an account. He then approached the counter and handed the teller a note demanding money. The man then left the bank with an unknown amount of money.
The man is described as being in his 30s.
Officers who were searching the nearby area found clothing near the bank believed to be worn by the suspect.
