Help police ID woman accused of cashing stolen checks in Gaffney


GAFFNEY, SC (WSPA) – Gaffney Police Department officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who reportedly cashed stolen checks.

According to the police department’s Facebook page, the woman cashed stolen checks at an area bank, which she reportedly obtained from a car break-in at the Travelers Rest YMCA.

The woman was driving a white Nissan Altima or Maxima. Police also believe the woman was wearing a wig in the pictures provided.

Anyone with information that could help police identify the woman is asked to call Gaffney Police Det. Blanton at 864-206-3334.
