(WSPA) — This week on Hometown Spotlight, 7 News Daybreak Reporter Christine Scarpelli and Photographer Ryan Goodman spend time with a senior softball program.
They get together for scrimmages on Tuesday at Cleveland Park in Greenville and for games on Thursday at Tyger River Park in Spartanburg.
The co-ed program is part of Greenville City Parks and Recreation and welcomes players 65 years and older.
The program is looking for new members to join their team or just practice.
Some members are also looking for businesses or individuals in the community that would like to support their travel team.
