Hub City Co-op says financial difficulties could lead to closure


SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – An Upstate community market may soon be forced to close their doors unless sales increase and additional contributions are made to the cash reserves.

According to Hub City Co-op’s Facebook post, officials gave an update on the store’s current financial situation to member-owners and community shoppers, as well as gave an explanation to their decision to shut down their hot bar, which became effective on Oct. 12.
