ID of man who called 911, died shortly after in Simpsonville

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A man died after calling 911 early Sunday morning, according to the Greenville County Coroner.

Deputies say the 24-year-old Frederick Jeremy Babb told dispatch that he had been shot and was on Black Road.

Babb died shortly after EMS arrived. The coroner says he died from multiple injuries and was found in a driveway.

Greenville County deputies are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
