Kool Smiles holds annual “Operation Troop Treats”

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Kids always try to collect as much candy as they can on Halloween. One dentist office in the Upstate is asking kids to give them their candy, to give to troops.

It’s all part of the annual Operation Troop Treats program. Each year, Kool Smiles Dentists collects candy to send to troops overseas.

Any child that brings in 25 pieces of unopened candy receives a new toy. The collected candy is put into 200 care packages that will be sent to troops.

The program is open to everyone, regardless of whether they are Kool Smiles patients. There is a limit of three toys per child and toys are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The candy drop-off is from October 28 through November 5 at the following locations:

  • Kool Smiles Greenville-Blue Ridge – 3227 W. Blue Ridge Drive, Greenville SC, 29611, (864) 295-8888
