Red & White Sunday at Morningside Baptist Church
Morningside will be honoring on 9/11 those firefighters who have lost their lives as well as our local firefighters who serve and protect us each day.

The Boiling Springs Fire District will observe the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on Sunday September 11th at 10:00 a.m. at our Headquarters Station at 5020 Pelham Rd. The public is invited to attend.
Remembrance Ceremony at Barnett Park
Starting at 6:30pm with guest speaker Dr. Don Wilton featuring a performance by the Unified Choir with a candlelight vigil.
Clemson University to mark anniversary, honor alumnus killed in World Trade Center at Tillman Hall Auditorium
Starting at 3pm they will honor victims of 9/11 as well as local first responders and law enforcement. They will also honor Clemson alumnus James Patrick White, an employee of Cantor-Fitzgerald who died in the attacks.
Service of Heroes at Greer City Park Amphitheater
Starting at 10:00am the event will honor all of our first responders and reinforce the important lessons of empathy, service, and unity that arose from 9/11. First responders are invited to stay for a free lunch at City Hall.
2nd Annual Belton Area 9/11 Walk to Remember at Rock Springs Fire Department
Ceremonies start at 5pm and the walk will be approximately 2 and a half miles ending at the Belton Fire Department.

Reverence, Remembrance, Reflection Ceremony at Historic Courthouse
Patriot Day ceremony starting at 9am in the Historic Courthouse Square to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Keynote speaker will be Congressman Mark Meadows.
Mural Dedication at 4th Avenue and King Street
Dedication starts at 4pm. There will be a motorcycle procession led by the Patriot Guard down King Street escorting families of loved ones who have lost a family member fighting for our country.
