GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A woman died and another person was injured following a two-vehicle crash in Greenville County Monday morning.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the collision happened on Fairview Rd. near McKelvie Rd. around 8:47 a.m.
Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway said the driver of a 2003 Lexus sedan was traveling south on Fairview Rd. when they crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and struck a dump truck in the driver’s side.
The driver of the Lexus was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the driver as Bobby Jo Hutchison, 40, of Fountain Inn.
A passenger of the dump truck was injured and transported to an area hospital.
