ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – One person has been charged in connection with a stabbing that injured one person on Saturday, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office confirmed to 7News on Sunday that Shontique T. Sims, from Anderson, was charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature in the incident.
Staff Sergeant J.T. Foster said that Sims stabbed a victim multiple times at a residence on Old North Church Road in Northlake. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive.
A date for the bond hearing has yet to be determined.
