ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – The Asheville Regional Airport is adding another nonstop flight to its service.
Starting on September 29, United Airlines will offer direct flights from AVL to Denver International Airport.
The daily flight will arrive in Asheville at 3:13 p.m. and depart for Denver at 4:30 p.m. on an Embraer 175 aircraft.
“Nonstop to Denver on United is an incredible addition to the route map at AVL,” said Lew Bleiweis, president and CEO of the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority. “Denver is a significant hub for United, and daily service will not only provide great access to and from Denver and Colorado but will also provide easy connections to and from western locations.”
The additional service is part of a significant expansion of United service in Denver.
