LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA)- Two people died in a crash along Interstate 385 in Laurens County Sunday.
The crash happened on I-385 northbound at mile marker 16 around 11 a.m.
The crash involved a tractor-trailer which rear ended a motorcycle while they were both travelling north on the interstate.
Both people on the motorcycle were killed in the wreck. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital.
The Laurens County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 38-year-old Lindsey Diane Billings and 55-year-old James Scott Lewis.
The crash is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Laurens County Coroner’s Office.
