ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Anderson County Coroner’s Office said a man died in a head-on crash Saturday.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 10:57 a.m. on US 29 near Ferry Street.

Troopers said that a 2016 Ford F-150 was traveling north when it crossed the double line and hit an 18-wheeler head-on.

The coroner identified the victim as 54-year-old Donald Robert Williams, of Anderson.

Williams died as a result of multiple traumatic injuries secondary to blunt force trauma according to the coroner.

The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Anderson County Coroner’s Office.
