GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Greenville County Coroner’s Office was called out to a crash that took place on Monday.
According to the coroner, the crash happened in the area of Augusta Road near Garrison Road. The coroner did confirm that one person is dead following the incident.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that a Peterbilt tractor-trailer was driving south on U.S. 25 and a 1998 Chevrolet sedan was heading south on U.S. 25.
Troopers said that the car stopped at a traffic light and was hit in the rear by the tractor-trailer.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 53-year-old Vickie Caroline Johnson of Greenville.
