BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – Deputies with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office said that they are currently investigating after finding a couple inside a home dead.
Deputies said that they suspect the incident is a possible homicide and suicide situation that took place on Cutshaw Drive.
Both individuals lived at the residence according to deputies.
Deputies identified the homicide victim as 23-year-old Lauren Page and the suspect as 22-year-old Ian Clement Niesel.
Investigators said the couple both died from gunshot wounds.
Buncombe County Crime Scene Investigators and Detectives with the Major Case unit are investigating the incident.
