PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – One person died Thursday afternoon in a single-car crash in Pickens County.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Adams Road near Kilt Lane just west of Pickens.
South Carolina Highway Patrol said a car ran off the left side of the road, hit a fence, then hit a tree.
The driver of the car died from his injuries at the scene of the crash.
The Pickens County Coroner identified the victim as 52-year-old Tony Dale Searcy.
