Help deputies find suspect in Anderson bank robbery

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that happened Tuesday afternoon.

According to a sheriff’s office Facebook post, a man entered the SC State Credit Union on a Pearman Dairy Road around 2:45 p.m. and gave a note to a teller demanding cash.

The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to deputies, the man never presented a weapon.

The sheriff’s office said the man was described as having a scar over his left eye, was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

The suspect also was wearing dark-rimmed glasses.
