FOREST CITY, N.C. (WSPA) – The Forest City Police Department is searching for a woman that left the scene following an accident that happened on Wednesday morning.

Officers said that they responded to a Speedway gas station in reference to a hit-and-run around 9:50 a.m.

According to officers, the suspect is a white female with blonde hair, driving a tan-colored early 2000’s model Jeep Grand Cherokee.
