GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – A pedestrian has died after they were hit by a vehicle along Woodruff Road in Greenville, Wednesday night.
According to the Greenville Police Department, a pedestrian was hit on Woodruff Road near Verdae Boulevard.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital but died a short time later.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Woodruff Road was closed in the area while police investigated the crash.
