SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – A pedestrian died in a crash Friday evening in Spartanburg.
The Spartanburg Police Department said the crash happened near the corner of East Blackstock Road and Hunt Club Lane just before 6:40 p.m.
Officers said a Ford pickup truck was traveling north on Blackstock Road when the pedestrian attempted to cross the road.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the pedestrian as 31-year-old Jonathan Hayes Watson.
