Police searching for suspects in Spartanburg deadly shooting

SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – Police are searching for two suspects seen near the scene of a deadly shooting in Spartanburg.

The shooting happened Wednesday night close to the intersection of North Dean and Woodward streets near Barnet Park.

The victim is identified as 37-year-old Lonndon Latrell Fuller.

Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said Fuller’s most recent address was on Marion Avenue in Spartanburg.

7News crew at the scene saw a truck with bullet holes in the windshield on nearby Woodward Street.

Spartanburg Police Department said Fuller was shot at least once while sitting in his pickup truck.

Officers found the victim unresponsive and slumped over in the driver’s seat with at least one gunshot wound.

Spartanburg police said in a news release issued Thursday that officers are searching for two suspects seen leaving the area in a cream color Dodge Charger with a black racing stripe down the center from the front to the rear bumper. Police say the car has factory wheels with dark tinted windows.

Police say one suspect is described as a black male with a heavy build wearing a t-shirt and black shorts, while the second suspect is described as a black male with slim build wearing a t-shirt and jogging pants.
