UPDATE: (8/6)- The Laurens Police Department said that South Harper US 221 between Academy Street and Manning Street is now back open.
LAURENS, S.C. (WSPA)- The Laurens Police Department said that a roadway is blocked due to a tree that has fallen in the roadway on Sunday.
Officers said that South Harper US 221 is closed between Academy Street and Manning Street.
According to officers, traffic is being rerouted around the scene.
