Sandy Springs FD announces death of assistant fire chief

PENDLETON, S.C. (WSPA) – Sandy Springs Fire Department officials said Assistant Chief Wade Landreth died Thursday morning.

Landreth was admitted to the hospital last week after experiencing some health issues, the department said in a Facebook post.

The department said Landreth was “one of a kind” and will be missed.

Landreth will have a full firefighter rights service, according to the post.
