SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A woman died Saturday, a week after she was injured in a Spartanburg County crash.
The crash happened the evening of April 1 on Asheville Highway near Commerce Point Boulevard, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a pickup truck was attempting to turn on to Asheville Highway when it was struck by an SUV headed eastbound. The SUV then overturned.
The driver of the pickup truck along with both people in the SUV were taken to Spartanburg Medical Center for their injuries.
The passenger, identified by the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office as 63-year-old Phiev Blang, died from her injuries Saturday.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing investigating the crash.
