GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Dwight A. Loftis has won the special election Republican primary race to fill William Timmons’ vacant seat.
According to SCVotes.org, all precincts have finished reporting, showing Loftis defeating Amy Ryberg Doyle and Jeffrey Stringer for the vacant State Senate District 6 seat.
According to the South Carolina Election Commission, Tina Belge is running for the seat as a Democratic party candidate.
The special election will be held on March 26.
