Voters in Greenville didn’t mind the long lines at the County Square prescient on Friday.
Political experts say that given the boost in early voter participation, there may also be a higher overall turnout. That remains to be seen.
However, the rain, long lines and waiting wasn’t going to keep some Greenville County voters from making their voices heard.
“I think that it shows that the people in this country want a voice in what is going to continue happening in this country,” Barbara Hawkins told 7News.
Absentee voting continues on Saturday and ends on Monday at 5 p.m.
Polls are open on Election Day, Tues., Nov. 6, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
