Looking back at a Canadian town’s generosity after 9/11


GANDER, NEWFOUNDLAND (CBS News/WSPA) – When airspace over the United States was shut down, 38 planes with 6,600 passengers had to land in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland.

The Canadian town’s residents showed kindness to stranded passengers.
